Concepts— This document outlines the setup instructions to connect the TDS Ranger with Survey Pro to a Nikon DTM Total Station using the Hayes BanTamX2 Communication System. Many of these steps only need to be done during the initial setup or when the system configuration changes.

There are 3 communication links to setup: (A) Nikon to Instrument Radio, (B) Instrument Radio to Remote Radio, (C) Remote Radio to Survey Pro on the Ranger.
