Out-of-Plumb
Collimation for Topcon GTS-900/GPT-9000
- Setup instrument on a stable tripod and position 360 degree prism approximately level with instrument 300ft away.
- Level the instrument precisely, then enter the ADJUST mode press touch screen.
- Select the VERTICAL 0 ADJUST mode on the touch screen.
- Sight the prism precisely on FACE 1 vertical 90 degree side of instrument. Press SET on touch screen.
- Press the
STAR KEY on the keyboard to use the self invert key. - Inspect the sighting position, adjust motion knobs to center reticule to target. Then press the SET button on touch screen.
- Adjust tracking axis of instrument after adjusting the
VERTICAL 0 . - Precisely sight the prism at 300 ft then enter press the MEAS button on touch screen.
- Press the TURN key when measuring is completed.
- Precisely sight the prism at 300ft and press the MEAS button on the touch screen.
- SET the correction values then EXIT.
CAUTION ! The instrument will rotate on H & V axis.
CAUTION! The instrument will Shelf Invert and Rotate to Rear Face
